If you're still struggling to get your hands on Sony's new PlayStation 5, you might be in luck as we continue through July 2021. Another major UK retailer, Argos, has just started releasing its PS5 stock via online orders. Here's everything you need to know.
Argos Releases PS5's Into The Wild
We always knew Argos was going to release its PS5 stock, but this is a tad later in the day than expected. Usually, Argos updates its stock listings at around 01:00 BST. However, it looks like they have only just started releasing their PS5 stock online (with reports stating it began at around 08:00 BST).
With the way Argos works and delivers from regional warehouses, it looks like you might have a better chance of getting your hands on a new PS5 Console with them today. We don't know exactly how many units they have in stock, but more often than not, they're divided up by area.
It's still a bit of a gamble, but if you're in a place with lower demand for the console (albeit probably a fractionally lower demand), you might stand more of a chance.
Both Ps5Instant and PS5StockAlertUK have stated that Argos has stock and they are yet to update their social feeds to say the stock has been depleted.
As always, there are a few things you can do to improve your chances. It might not help you this time around, but if you're unlucky it's worth keeping in mind.
Firstly, you should always pre-create an account with your chosen retailer. This allows you to save Payment Details and Shipping Information and can save you several minutes in the checkout process. This could be the difference.
Secondly, always Wishlist / "Save" the PS5 Console. This should mean you get an email notification and/or Mobile App notification when they are going to start restocking the item you have previously Wishlisted. It can give you that little extra time to get in before the crowds.
