UPDATE: September 2021's PS Plus games have been announced.

PlayStation has confirmed that Overcooked All You Can Eat (PS5) is joining Hitman 2 (PS4) and Predator Hunting Grounds (PS4) as September 2021's PS Plus games for next month.

Overcooked All You Can Eat is only available to PS5 users and all the games are available from September 7th.

REVEAL TIME - When do we find out?

As long as everything goes to plan, we should see an announcement from PlayStation regarding September 2021's PS Plus games at the following times on September 1st:

  • 08:30 PST
  • 11:30 EST
  • 16:30 BST

This should be updated to the PlayStation Blog and PlayStation's social media accounts simultaneously - so, keeping an eye on both of these places for the announcement is key.

We could see Predator Hunting Grounds, Hitman 2, and Overcooked All You Can Eat appear - or, we could see an entirely separate selection of games. Only time will tell...

RUMOUR - It turns out Dealabs were right!

According to Dealabs - a site similar to HotUKDeals - we could be looking at the following three games in September 2021's PS Plus line-up:

  • Overcooked All You Can Eat - PS5
  • Hitman 2 - PS4
  • Predator Hunting Ground - PS4

They might not be the best games we've ever been offered but it's better than Tennis World Tour 2, right? FIST - Forged In Shadow Torch - could still appear, though. This is just a rumour.

Dealabs has been right in the past, though... It's also been wrong. We're only a day away from finding out from the source, thankfully.

OUR PREDICTIONS - We missed the mark

This is the part where we can't guarantee anything. It's always a bit tricky to predict a PS Plus game, but they're usually quite good.

FIST - which is an acronym for Forged In Shadow Torch - is due to release on the same date as the PS Plus titles. We're going to go out on a limb and suggest that this could be the PS5 title we get with September 2021's PS Plus offerings.

In addition to this, we think PlayStation needs to come back from August 2021's PS Plus games with two classic PlayStation Exclusive titles. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy and Marvel's Spider-Man are two games we think PlayStation could offer us during next month's PS Plus. They're both ageing games and both games we know people would enjoy playing - especially for free!

WE CAN HOPE FOR REMASTERED - Spider-Man's Remastered release is one of the best-looking PS5 games out there

We know it's a bit of a punt to suggest two triple-A games, but we're hopeful.

When can you play September 2021's PS Plus games?

September 2021's PS Plus games are going to be available from September 7th. This might seem a little late in the month - and it really is - but this is due to the fact that PS Plus games are usually available from the first Tuesday of the month and September starts on a Wednesday.

It isn't ideal for those of us who want to play the new games early, but it does give you an extra bit of time to download the August 2021 PS Plus line-up if you've missed them.

At the very least, you can add all three games - Hunter's Arena, Plants vs Zombies: Battle For Neighborville, and Tennis World Tour 2 - to your library. This means you can download and play them later... Well, if you want.
