PS Plus is a deal you don't want to miss if you're a PlayStation player. Over the last few months, PS Plus members have had access to a handful of fantastic titles for free with their subscription. Thankfully, August 2021 promises to be the same. However, this month's titles might not be to everyone's tastes.
We predicted Uncharted: The Lost Legacy and World War Z would be coming to PS Plus in August 2021; Here is what we might actually get...
UPDATED - Leaked August 2021 PS Plus Games
It looks like PlayStation has updated their website a bit early and leaked August 2021's PS Plus titles ahead of their announcement later this week. As you can see below, it looks like Plants vs. Zombies: Battle For Neighborville and Tennis World Tour 2 is going to be joining Hunter's Arena on August 3rd.
It isn't exactly World War Z, and it certainly isn't Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, but they aren't the worst games ever.
Following the latest State of Play presentation, Sony confirmed that Hunter's Arena would be launching as a PS Plus title on August 3rd on both generations of the console: PS4 and PS5.
We don't know if this will appeal to a lot of you, but it's a melee-based battle royale title that could thrive with a PS Plus launch. You can check out the announcement and a brief gameplay clip below:
This confirms one game for the PS Plus Announcement due on July 28th, but what else is coming?
What We Think Is Coming?
We know it's like beating a dead horse, but Uncharted: The Lost Legacy HAS to be added to PS Plus at some point. It's always being talked about and it's one of the best PlayStation Exclusive titles to come out of Naughty Dog. It seems like a no-brainer when you think about the games PlayStation should throw out in their PS Plus membership and we reckon August 2021 is the time for this part of our predictions to come true.
As for the rest of the line-up, with Hunter's Arena being confirmed for PS4 and PS5... It's hard to say. This could be the PS5 title for the month. It's hard to fully commit to suggesting any other PS5 title for August 2021 in our predictions.
World War Z, though, is something we think we might see. PS Plus members have seen quite a few Zombie games join the service over the last few months but World War Z is one of those that always seems to evade it. It's on Game Pass and has been for a while now, so we think it should be thrown into next month's PS Plus line-up for a change of pace from Hunter's Arena.
