The all-new PS Plus is launching across the world and with it, classic PlayStation titles are becoming available on PS5s for players to explore games that helped build Sony's Legacy. Games like Tekken 2.
Tekken 2 is among the best-selling fighting games of all time so it was a no-brainer that the title would be coming to modern consoles. What wasn't as much of a no-brainer was the price the title was listed for.

Tekken 2 Gets Listed on PlayStation for $9,999
Price tags have been a bit of a controversial topic in this generation of consoles, especially for PlayStation which seems to be committing to the increased price tag for AAA titles that is becoming more common in the PS5 era
This has seemingly been taken to the next level with Tekken 2 which has accidentally been listed for $9,999, adding a whole new meaning to the "premium" in the PS Plus Premium. This mistake has been amusing for many people online, including Tekken Director/Producer Katsuhiro Harada who has been responding to tweets about the inflated price.
While the initial tweets in response to this incorrect pricing could be read as annoyed, it was a later tweet responding to someone showing off their new PS1 era arcade stick signed by Harada that made it clear that he found the situation pretty entertaining overall.
Harada has worked on the Tekken series for over 27 years and has recently discussed his involvement with the upcoming Tekken Anime that's coming to Netflix later in the year.
