I don't envy those that are still struggling to get a PS5, because they might be struggling for quite a while yet.

AMD has delivered some grim news for gamers looking to secure the next-gen system.
AMD Causing Stock Shortages
AMD's CEO Lisa Su has warned that we can expect to see "some tightness through the first half of the year, but there's added capacity in the second half."
This means we can expect to see stock shortages until at least July 2021, with just a few PS5s trickling into stores over the coming months.
With millions of gamers trying to get their hands on the next-gen console, you should probably start turning on notifications on for as many stock alert bots as you can.
All is not lost though, some stock is expected in stores this month, but we don't know how many consoles will be arriving, although we suspect it won't be many.
Don't Lose Hope Just Yet
According to PS5 Stock UK, more PlayStation 5's will be on sale at GAME on February 26th.
This has been pushed back numerous times but it looks like the date may be locked in now, so mark those calenders and set up those stock alerts.
Argos
It also seems like Argos will be getting regular shipments of consoles over the coming months, with a small amount at the start of next month and larger shipments later in February and into March.
Smyths
Smyths was originally meant to have stock for sale this month, but it has now been pushed back to February.
It is expected that both the disc and digital versions will be on sale when the restock happens.
CEX
CEX is a chain brand that sells used entertainment items from games, films, computer parts, mobile phones and more.
Because of this they don't have to follow pricing laws and can instead set their own laws.
They do sell both versions of the PS5, but be prepared to pay more than RRP for them.
At the time of writing the prices are:
- PS5 (Boxed) - £790
- PS5 Digital (Boxed) - £360
Ebay
Like CEX, if you're prepared to pay more than RRP and aren't that bothered whether the box has been opened before, then Ebay is one place to consider.
One thing to note is, since you may be dealing with individual sellers there may be a risk involved, so be prepared for that before you bid/purchase.
