Daily PlayStation News & PS5 Console Stock Updates

Looking for the latest PS5 news today? How about a PS5 console stock update? Well... We have both for you, so that's lucky. Here's the latest from PlayStation.

PS5 Stock Update

If you're looking for a PlayStation 5 console, we have some good news for you. This isn't to say that you can go out right now and get one, but soon you should be able to get your hands on a new console.

GAME, Argos, and John Lewis are all reportedly getting new PS5 stock in the next couple of weeks and they're expected to be released from the second week of May onwards.

This isn't a guarantee that you'll be able to get your hands on one, but it'll make things a lot easier.

If you can't wait until then, though, there's always CEX or an auction site like eBay. These won't be sold with the RRP guidelines, so you might be paying a bit more than you'd like for the console but they do have stock. We recommend waiting though...

PS Plus Tomorrow

Today is the final day you can claim Days Gone, Zombie Army 4: Dead War, and Oddworld: Soulstorm for free as part of an active PS Plus membership.

From tomorrow, you'll be able to get your hands on three more awesome games.

Wreckfest is the PS5-exclusive title and Battlefield V is joining Stranded Deep as the two PS4 games. These will be available for free with an active PS Plus membership throughout May.

If you don't own a PS5, sadly Wreckfest won't be included. This could change, but for now, this is a PS5 exclusive title. You can add it to your library, though.

Star Wars Game Sale

It's May 4th tomorrow and that means it's time for another Star Wars game sale! If you haven't checked already, the "May Fourth" sales are already live and will be for another couple of days.

Almost every Star Wars title on the PS Store is majorly discounted and this is the perfect time to pick up any of those old classics you might have missed before.

You can find the full run-down on every Star Wars title that will be included in the PS Store sales here:

In addition to this announcement from EA Star Wars, there was also an announcement that Jedi: Fallen Order was going to get a native next-gen release in the Summer. This means Cal Kestis is coming to PS5 consoles in a few months and we can't wait to see how Respawn Entertainment will improve it.

Game Updates & More

Speaking of Respawn Entertainment, Apex Legends' next major update is also dropping tomorrow!

Apex Legends: Legacy is going to introduce a new Arenas mode to the game and will also bring a new Legend, a new weapon, a new Battle Pass and several major changes to both the Legends themselves and the game in general. It's the start of something new and it's going to be huge.

In addition to this, PlayStation has shared a better look at the upcoming Subnautica expansion, Below Zero. This is coming to both PS4 and PS5 on May 14th and promises to be a game-changing content expansion.

Also, if you missed it, there's a new AllStar coming to Destruction AllStars on May 5th and the first season of the game is kicking off with a bang. Alba is going to be a fantastic addition to the roster, right?
