PS Now December 2021: New Games, Announcements & More

Jump To

PlayStation has a great subscription service in PS Plus but PS Now seems to be the least talked about. Functioning as Sony's inferior equivalent to Game Pass, there are tonnes of reasons to try it. Here's what you should know about PS Now's games in December.

When will the December PS Now games be announced?

Generally, PS Now games tend to get announced around the start of every month. This being said, we occasionally see leaks, rumours and reveals throughout the month to keep people anticipating the next month.

For this reason, we expect to see December's games at the start of December.

PS Now Games Release Date

The PS Now games will arrive sometime after they have been announced, likely the week of. For this reason, we expect December's games to be playable a week or two into December. With what we know so far, we imagine it could come on December 7th.

There's a chance they could be held back a little further due to late announcements but it seems unlikely at this point.

What games are coming to PS Now?

We only know of two games so far but they both seem like interesting additions.

The first is Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster, set to arrive on December 7th. This is a remaster of the classic titles with better sounds, visuals and performance. We originally found out about this addition way back in September via the PlayStation Blog but it's only coming now.

The second game, as announced on the PlayStation Blog, is GTA 3 Remastered. Part of the rather poorly received definitive edition trilogy, this will give players to try it out in case they want to buy it. Although many have been disappointed with it, this isn't a bad way to try it for yourself.
