Horizon Forbidden West Override All Tallnecks Guide & Final Secret Salt Bite Tallneck

Tallnecks are vital in Horizon Forbidden West, as they give you the lay of the land, revealling everything nearby. While there are five on the map from the start, you may notice that one is missing and the north is still covered in fog. That's because there's one final hidden Tallneck in Horizon Forbidden West that's secret. We have a guide on all Tallnecks in Horizon Forbidden West.

If you want to find them all, we've got a guide on how to find it and override it. It's the Salt Bite Tallneck, and will likely be the sixth and final one you get to.

Final Hidden Tallneck Location in Horizon Forbidden West (Salt Bite)

When you've overriden the five Tallnecks shown on Horizon Forbidden West's map, you'll expect a trophy to pop for completing all of them. However, you'll need to go out and find the sixth and final Tallneck, which isn't shown as an icon on the main world map.

The Salt Bite Tallneck is actually stuck inside the Caldron Iota, in the north of Horizon Forbidden West's map.

You need to head to that location, which you can see on the screenshot below, go inside and complete the Cauldron.

We won't run you through exactly what the Cauldron entails here, since it's long and we want to avoid spoliers, but just make your way through it.

You'll see that a Tallneck has been stuck inside as the Cauldron has failed to release it. By the end of the Cauldron, you'll be able to release the Salt Bite Tallneck back into the wild, adding it to the map.

Thankfully, as part of the end of the Cauldron, you'll exit it on top of the Tallneck, allowing you to override it right away.

If you've already done the other five Tallnecks in Horizon Forbidden West, the final part of the map will be revealed and the trophy will pop.
