eFootball has gone through some major changes recently, updating from the 2022 version to the 2023 one, with Season 1 kicking things off.
Big improvements to gameplay since its initial release have lured fans over to the title, and they've just captured another star name for an ambassador role.
Trent Alexander-Arnold's new ambassador position is celebrated with a new Premium Ambassador Pack, so check out its contents and what his addition could mean for the future of eFootball.
After aligning himself with eFootball 2023, TAA is rewarded with an Epic card, a new type introduced in Season 1.
As stated by Konami, Epic Player Card Types celebrate "the "defining season" of big names past and present, with a higher progression ceiling than Legendary."
This card will focus on his 2019/20 campaign, where he bagged four goals and a whopping 15 assists in all competitions, and helped Liverpool claim the Premier League title.
The Premium Ambassador Pack can be found by going to [Mission] > [Premium Objectives] and contains:
- 1 x Epic
- 10 x Highlight Cards
- 15 x Exp. 4,000 Training Program
Price - 1,500 eFootball Coins each
Stealing a Star
The ambassador role doesn't come new to Trent Alexander-Arnold, as he has fulfilled that position for rival franchise FIFA for the past two seasons, which included being the face of the popular Web App for Ultimate Team.
By taking him away from the competition, Konami is signalling that they are here to compete with the big boys, much like they have done by getting Italian giants Inter Milan and AC Milan to exclusively sign with them.
As well as Trent Alexander-Arnold, Konami announced that Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes has joined as an ambassador this season.
They accompany superstars Lionel Messi and Neymar in that role, as well as Takefusa Kubo.
We wait to see who else Konami can introduce to their ranks in the future.
