The ancient action-role playing game was released to rapturous reviews back in 2017, and now it's time to bring the title across to a new generation of player.

Latest News - PS5 version To Have 120fps and Adaptive Feedback Support

It has been confirmed that Nioh Remastered will run at 4K 60fps, but also has an option to run at 1080p 120fps.

The games will also utilize the new adaptive feedback feature on the DualSense controller, with adaptive triggers being used for firing the bow and rifles, and haptic feedback for various combat actions.

The Nioh Collection on the PlayStation 5 will be launched on Friday, February 5.


There will be four different releases coming to the PS4 and the PS5, they are as follows.

  • Nioh 2 – The Complete Edition (available on PlayStation 4)
  • Nioh 2 Remastered – The Complete Edition (available on PlayStation 5)
  • Nioh Remastered – The Complete Edition (available on PlayStation 5)
  • The Nioh Collection (available on PlayStation 5)


This will be a Nioh experience like you have never seen before, thanks to the incredible power that the PS5 possesses.

Nioh Collection Remastered

All of the titles released on the Next Gen console will support 4k and 120fps, meaning William Adams journey will be bigger and better than ever before.

Nioh Collection PS5

The big news with regards to the Nioh Collection is that it will be heading to the Next Gen consoles for the first time, with the Team Ninja release coming to the PS5 in the coming weeks.

The collection will be a PlayStation exclusive, with Sony gaining the rights to the title on the Next Gen console having had exclusive rights to the franchise on the PS4.

Free Upgrade

For those that bought Nioh 2 on the PS4 who now want to upgrade to the PS5 then fear not, as you will be entitled to a free upgrade to the Nioh 2 Remastered – The Complete Edition on your Next Gen machine.

You will also be entitled to a free Next Gen upgrade to any DLC expansions that you currently own on the PS4 too.
