Pokemon Legends: Arceus is finally available in all regions Worldwide. The newest chapter in the Pokemon Saga is receiving tons of praise and good reviews all over.
Pokemon Legends: Arceus takes place in the same territory as the Sinnoh Region but many years before. Known as the Hisui region, players can find unique versions of well-known Pokemon in these lands.
This guide will pinpoint the locations and everything necessary to catch the Hisuian Version of Growlithe and its Hisui evolution, Hisuian Arcanine.
Hisuian Growlithe form has longer, more voluminous fur than the previously discovered form of Growlithe. The extra Fur allows Growlithe to thrive in the frigid environment in Hisui.
Hisuian Growlithe is highly vigilant and tends to be found guarding their territory in Pairs.
Where to Find Hisuian Growlithe
Hisuian Growlithe can be found in Windbreak Stand. The area is located in the Cobalt Coastlands. To unlock this part of the map, players need to battle the Second Noble Pokemon: Lilligant.
Hisuian Growlither is over the flat mountain top in Windbreak. Luckily it seems there is not a specific time requirement to find this wary Pokemon.
They are not used to people, so they will attack you once they see you. Therefore, it would be necessary to bring something to stun them or approach them carefully and try to catch them offguard with a Pokeball instead.
How to get Hisuian Arcanine
In Pokemon Legends: Arceus, Growlithe is a Fire-Rock type Pokemon. Hisuian Arcanine, the evolution of Hisui's Growlithe, has proved so far to be a powerful Pokemon that would be a wonderful slot in to most teams.
Unfortunately, Growlithe will not evolve by leveling up. Instead, players will need to use a Fire Stone.
Where To Get a Fire Stone
Fire Stones can be acquired from the Trading Post in Jubilife Village prior to being used on Hisuian Growlithe.
Fire Stones can be purchased for 1000 Merit Points. These Merit Points are obtained by completing Side Quests.
