Pokemon Unite Switch Launch Date Confirmed
The Pokemon Company has confirmed that they will release Pokemon Unite on July 21 this year for Nintendo Switch, followed by mobile (IOS and Android) in September 2021.
The game takes place on Aeos Island, a mythical island said to be on the ocean’s unexplored frontier. Here, players will find the Unite Battle Committee (UBC), which runs a series of Unite Battle tournaments.
In Unite Battles, players form teams of five and compete against each other to see who can score the most points before time runs out. Players will experience a mysterious new form of energy--called Aeos energy.
This Aeos energy can be used in Unite Battles to evolve Pokemon. The Unite Battles will have passionate global fans and Trainers everywhere long to get a piece of the action. You take on the role of a rookie Trainer who’s arrived to Aeos and participate in these battles.

Last February, the Pokemon Company announced that another closed beta test is scheduled to release in Canada in March 2021, as an exclusive for Android smartphone users.
It is confirmed that the game will have cross-platform play between the Nintendo Switch and mobile devices.

Yeah, Pokemon Unite will be free to start, but there are microtransactions for you to get into if you'd like.
