The first category we're going to go over is the top ten slapshot power players now that the NHL 23 ratings have come out.
Leading the charge with a 96 OVR rating to the attribute is Alex Ovechkin, who is known to have one of the best slapshot players in the game.

Wristshot Power provides you with a little more control and finesse than what slapshot power provides you with and guess who made the list this time?
Alex Ovechkin made it back onto the top ten list of wristshot power players, giving him another top ten spot in the NHL 23 ratings.
Leading the NHL 23 ratings for wristshot power is Auston Matthews, who has a 94 POWER rating. Yesterday, we took a look at the best wings in the game, you can check out that list here.

NHL 23 Release Date
The official NHL 23 release date is set for October 14, which isn't very far away. There could also be some early access available through EA Play as well.
After the Closed Technical Test came to a close, we learned that the game went over pretty well and played fairly smoothly.
