The PlayStation 5 is barely a week old and Sony are already updating the system to improve its performance for gamers worldwide.
Update 20.02-02.26-00 is now live and brings with it performance updates.
To stand still in this industry is to move backwards. Sony updated PS5's worldwide last week with update 20.02-02.25.00 and today there's another system update for the console.
Like last week, patch notes for 20.02-02.26-00 only mention improved system performance, and additional details are unknown at this point.
The only entry in the "what's new" section of the update files is "This system software update improves system performance".

The update is 886MB in size - the same as last week's system update.
This new update should fix the remaining crashing issues that some players are still experiencing with their systems. From what we can tell, last week's firmware update addressed some of the crashing issues, but not all of them.
Update 20.02-02.26-00 is available to download now for all PS5 users.
The PS5 is available globally now, although getting one is very difficult. Even Sony have stated that they're sold out worldwide.
