Rather than separating weekly power rankings by brand, RealSport is bringing Raw, SmackDown Live, and 205 Live together to see which stars are making the biggest impact regardless of brand! Here are this week’s rankings for the women of WWE!
WWE should be commended for at least giving Tamina an ongoing storyline with Lana to give her some character. They are trying, but it isn't really succeeding so far. Tamina still doesn't feel like a threat.
9 BECKY LYNCH
The great thing about Becky is that even though she loses a lot, she always feels like she is a threat to win. She's also brimming with positive charisma and it is a delight anytime she is on TV.
8 MICKIE JAMES
Mickie showed us all why she is one of the great women's wrestlers. She cut an awesome promo and instantly made people feel invested in her facing Alexa Bliss. We will have to wait and see where this goes, but right now it's a breath of fresh air for a relatively underused veteran.
Bayley made her triumphant in-ring return at No Mercy! Only to be pinned by Alexa Bliss again. It is hard to imagine that Bayley will recover from this horrid booking rut, but we can only hope for the best. Her skill and prior championship history keeps her in the mix, but if things don't change she will inevitably slide down the rankings.
6 NIA JAX
How long can Nia keep looking like a monster without having any real success? She isn't a babyface so I don't understand the long build. Sure she isn't ready for the championship, however, her continuously losing in big matches is only hurting her in the long run.
Honestly, everything Carmella and Ellsworth are doing is super entertaining. Carmella can afford to eat pins as she has the Money in the Bank briefcase, so as long as she keeps being entertaining while losing she is doing an excellent job.
4 SASHA BANKS
Sasha Banks is an extremely talented wrestler. She's a great babyface, but there's always that thought of "when is she turning heel on Bayley?" While that thought exists, it will be hard to feel satisfied with what Banks is doing, no matter how well she does it.
When I think of a champion, I think of Charlotte. It doesn't feel right when she doesn't have a championship around her waist. She carries herself with such dignity and strength that no matter if she is baby or heel she is compelling. Charlotte just might be the GOAT women's wrestler.
It feels bad to rag on Natalya all the time but she's just so unentertaining. She's a lovely person, a talented worker, and she surely works her ass off so it hurts to say she's boring. It's just so hard to get into whatever she is doing. That said, she will put on a classic against Charlotte at Hell in a Cell.
1 ALEXA BLISS
Alexa Bliss is making the DDT powerful again, which is something we can all get behind. The only real issue is that it feels anti-climatic every time she hits it. Alexa has come a long way, and she has done a great job as the top woman on Monday Night Raw. Even with the constant threat of multiple challengers, she continues to find a way to win.
