The name “Bash At The Beach” will always resonate with older wrestling fans. It’s where Hulk Hogan turned heel and joined the nWo in 1996. It’s where Jeff Jarrett lay down for Hogan in 2000 and Vince Russo cut a worked shoot promo that ended up getting him sued by the Hulkster. It was a flagship pay per view for WCW but when they were bought up by WWE the name disappeared from the wrestling calender. Now the name is back, and it’s back with a bang. For the first time in nearly seven years WWE will be going to Hawaii to put on a show. Not only are they putting on a show there, it will be broadcast live on the WWE Network with a reportedly STACKED card. The rumours doing the rounds are that Kevin Owens will face Brock Lesnar, WWE Womens Champion Charlotte and NXT Womens Champion Asuka will square off and in a dream match for many fans John Cena will go toe to toe with the King of Strong Style Shinsuke Nakamura. Those three matches alone are worth the price of admission, but the card also advertises Roman Reigns, Chris Jericho and AJ Styles. The show, on June 29th, looks like being the biggest Special yet and has fans salivating at the card.
