Three Things to Expect from NXT (10 August 2016)

With TakeOver: Brooklyn 2 closing in, what can we expect from tonight's episode of NXT?

1. Authors of Pain in action

After their recent confrontations with American Alpha, the monstrous duo led by Paul Ellering may continue to wreak havoc tonight on NXT. Due to their sheer size, no one is safe, but it’s unclear exactly who they’ll have in their crosshairs with the departure of American Alpha to SmackDown Live.

2. Gargano & Ciampa get back on the same page

After tearing down the house in the first round of the Cruiserweight Classic, the Psycho Killer and Johnny Wrestling turn their focus back to The Revival. The duo of Ciampa and Gargano will look to continue their dominance as a tag team to stake their claim at a future NXT Tag Team Title shot, and move forward from being at odds in the Cruiserweight Classic.

3. Bayley vs. Asuka II is made official

At NXT TakeOver: Dallas, Bayley and Asuka squared off for the first time. The excellent matchup saw the ultimate girl next door and beloved Bayley going up against the nearly unstoppable force that is Asuka. Bayley has had some injury issues in recent months, but everything seems to be back in line and now Bayley is looking to become a two-time NXT Women’s Champion. This week, we’ll get the contract signing between these two. And well, contract signings never end calmly…
