Colt Cabana was back at the announce desk alongside Ian Riccobani after missing the last few episodes.
Kazarian continues to feud with the crowd
Frankie Kazarian came to the ring and cut another scathing promo on the crowd. Accusing them of lacking respect for Christopher Daniels for booing him last week. He claimed that the fans don’t deserve to see Christopher Daniels and they are nothing but a bunch of trend following smarks. He ridiculed their chants before he ended by telling them that he was going to ruin everything they like about Ring of Honor as pay back for the way they have treated him and Daniels.
Flip Gordon certainly lives up to his name
At only two years into his career, Flip Gordon is still relatively to new to both the business and ROH but he impressed the crowd to no end with his fast paced high flying style. Flip is a perfect match made for Ring of Honor, with his vast array of flips and his amazing athleticism his popularity will only improve as he gains more experience on ROH television. Martinez showed again that he is pretty athletic himself, especially considering his size and he picked up the win with a Chokeslam from the top rope. Jay White attacked Martinez after the match and they had to be pulled apart by security. Very good match, with Gordon impressing yet again and the feud between White and Martinez moving forward nicely.
Cabana gets his own Boyz
After Colt Cabana did a backstage interview with the Tempura Boyz in which he indicated that they should be calling themselves men, not boys. Ian Riccobani suggested that maybe Cabana and the Tempura Boyz could take on Dalton Castle and his boys. This caught the attention of Castle, who made his way onto the stage saying that he’s been listening to Cabana running his mouth at the announce table and if he wants a title show he can have one. Cabana accepted and next week we will get Dalton Castle and The Boys defending their ROH 6 Man Tag Titles against Colt Cabana and The Tempura Boys.
TV Title Match turns into chaos
New Japan’s Kushida defended his ROH TV Title against No.1 contender Kenny King in the main event. After a decent match, Kushida looked to have secured victory with the Hoverboard Lock only for Hangman Page and Marty Scurll to interfere by attacking the champion. Kenny King said he wasn’t going to let them ruin his match and offered them a tag match against him and Kushida. In the resulting tag team match, all four men delivered a bit of everything before King got the win after hitting The Royal Flush on Hangman Page. After the match, Kushida and King shook hands while Kenny suggested that he wanted another title match.
- Punishment Martinez def. Flip Gordon
- Rhett Titus def. Cheeseburger
- Kushida and Kenny King went to a no contest after interference from The Bullet Club
- Kushida & Kenny King def. The Bullet Club (Marty Scurll & Hangman Page)
Next week will see Dalton Castle and The Boys defend their Ring of Honor 6 Man Tag Titles against Colt Cabana and The Tempura Boyz.
