Lars Sullivan is done with tag team partners. He is out to destroy people who get in his way, and he has no issue bringing the aggression.
No Way Jose felt the wrath of Sullivan as his entrance music happened to interrupt a backstage interview Sullivan was doing. The festivities of a No Way Jose entrance were cut short as Sullivan destroyed him and left him needing doctor’s attention.
Seeing how effective his own offense can be by himself, is this the beginning of a solo run for Lars Sullivan?
More iconic than the Mae Young Classic
Sarah Logan has been quite busy as she uses in-ring matches to prepare for the Mae Young Classic, which appears to mean she is stuck jobbing again, perhaps until after the classic. The Iconic Duo were the latest team to finish off Logan as she took on Peyton Royce.
For a moment, it seemed like Sarah Logan was in position to win the match and finally pick up some momentum before going into the Mae Young Classic, but Billie Kay once again got in the way to set up an opening for Royce to hit her finisher.
There is no question about how ‘iconic’ Billie Kay and Peyton Royce are, but we have to ask ourselves, with the string of losses she’s suffered, just how far will Sarah Logan go in the MYC?
The UK guys do it again
If there’s one thing we’ve learned about WWE’s British talent, it’s that they sure know how to put on a show. When you have United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne, Wolfgang, Tyler Bate and Trent Seven competing against one another, you instantly have a “this is awesome” moment, but put those four in a tag team match? Double that awesomeness.
There were too many highlights and great spots in the match to single out each one, but the finishing sequence deserves special mention. Wolfgang blind-tagged his partner Pete Dunne as Tyler Bate delivered his Tyler Driver ’97 on the champion, unbeknownst to him that Wolfgang was now the eligible man. The big Scot waited on top to deliver a huge Swanton Bomb to seal the win for his team.
After another classic, should the WWE Universe see more of the United Kingdom guys on regular NXT programming?
