Drew Mcintyre has always been the fighting man ever since he rebuilt his reputation in the indies and back in his second stint with the WWE. With just a few days before his NXT Championship match at TakeOver: Brooklyn III, McIntyre agreed to face Roderick Strong in what could be called a risky move as the Messiah of the Backbreaker is no slouch given how he is NXT Champion Bobby Roode’s biggest challenge to date.
Is the number one contender making a wise decision by putting his physical well being on the line so close to what could be the biggest match of his career?
It’s the Women’s turn
Last week, it was the two competitors for the NXT Title who met face to face in the middle of the ring to build up their match. This time, it’s the women’s turn as NXT Women’s Champion Asuka and Ember Moon meet in the middle of the ring to make their match at TakeOver: Brooklyn III official.
Contract signings are known to end in an altercation and knowing the Empress of Tomorrow, she would want to seek revenge for what happened to her two weeks ago as Ember Moon hit her with the Eclipse out of nowhere. Can the two competitors manage to hold their tempers and be civil up until the bell rings at TakeOver: Brooklyn III?
Though we should be talking about the matches for TakeOver: Brooklyn III, the NXT Universe at Full Sail haven’t gotten enough of the Street Profits and their swagger yet so lets hope we see them in Tag Team action tonight. Speaking of Tag Teams, there could be a huge possibility of brutality shall the Authors of Pain and SAnitY meet in the same venue tonight.
Johnny Gargano has finally gotten an opponent at TakeOver: Brooklyn III as Andrade “Cien” Almas challenged him to a match and was already made official by NXT General Manager William Regal as early as last week. Are we going to see them build up their match as well?
