NXT Preview: Kassius Ohno and Hideo Itami battle once again

Two hard hitters go at it again in tonight's main event. Also, will Cezar Bononi have El Idolo's number?

At it again…

Kassius Ohno couldn’t shake off the though of his last encounter with Hideo Itami despite the Japanese superstar shifting his focus to Aleister Black as of late. Ohno went to NXT General Manager William Regal to demand a rematch with Itami but this time there will be no disqualifications.

Itami has been notorious for imposing brutality under the restrictions of rules but what will happen when he competes in a match with no rules? Will the knockout artist get more than what he asked for? Where do the two go after tonight’s match?

All questions would be answered so make sure to tune in to tonight’s main event

The Empress of Tomorrow steps down

The dominant run shown by Asuka has met its fateful end with a collarbone injury sustained in her title match at TakeOver: Brooklyn III. Just two weeks after relinquishing her title, the Empress of Tomorrow will speak to the NXT Universe about her future.

Though undefeated, Asuka must stay on the sidelines right now and watch as the rest of the NXT Women’s Division try and prove their worth. Who will step up and who has to step aside?

More importantly, who has the right to stake claim to the vacant NXT Women’s Title?

Will Cezar Bononi have El Idolo’s number?

The last time Cezar Bononi and Andrade “Cien” Almas faced each other, the Brazilian scored an upset over the cocky Almas. This time around, Bononi will be facing a focused El Idolo, who is back to his competitive ways with the help of Zelina Vega.

Will Cezar Bononi have Almas’ number or will El Idolo come out victorious this time around?

Also notable…

Lars Sullivan is done with tag partners which is why he will now face three men tagging together all at once. Will the numbers game be enough to stop a big guy like Sullivan?

While Roderick Strong makes a strong case for a future title shot, Adam Cole, together with Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly want to instantly force themselves on the top. Johnny Gargano however prefers not to take shortcuts as he looks forward to building a successful singles run.
