Monday Night Raw had a great go-home show for Summerslam this weekend! So let’s see where everyone stands on the power rankings heading into Summerslam!
NUMBER 10: THE MIZ (=)
The Miz is a great heel, but he doesn’t feel like the threat he used to, his character only works when his cheating pays off. Just look to his feuds with Ambrose and Ziggler, you were on the edge of your seat all the time. Now it just seems as if Jason Jordan is dealing with him pretty easily.
NUMBER 9: SHEAMUS AND CESARO (=)
I can’t help but find myself questioning The Bar this week. Why wouldn’t they just let Seth and Dean implode? Instead, they were the factor that made them reunite in time for Summerslam.
NUMBER 8: JASON JORDAN (=)
Jordan got the win teaming up with The Hardys against The Miz and his lackeys. Jason has been getting a steady push. His ring work should continue to be highlighted as he chases the intercontinental championship.
NUMBER 7: FINN BALOR (-2)
Finn lost to Bray this week and had some kind of acidic liquid poured all over him. In the short term this is a step back but before we even have time to think about it the Demon King will be fixing all of that.
NUMBER 6: AKIRA TOZAWA (FIRST ENTRY)
If this isn’t Tozawa’s first time in the ten, it is his first time in a long time so forgive me if I’m wrong. In a complete shock move, Akira won the Cruiserweight Championship from Neville on the go-home show to Summerslam. Whilst this is massive for Tozawa it did leave me scratching my head a little.
NUMBER 5: DEAN AMBROSE AND SETH ROLLINS (+1)
This was the best moment of Monday Night Raw hands down. We finally got the fist bump the whole WWE Universe has been desiring. The massive pop of the crowd vindicating the fact that this is what we have all wanted for a long time.
NUMBER 4: ROMAN REIGNS (=)
Roman was dealt with pretty easily in the last segment of Monday Night Raw and although he did hit a spear on Samoa Joe, Joe’s mic work holds him above Roman this week.
NUMBER 3: SAMOA JOE (=)
As I said, Joe’s stellar mic work holds him a level above Roman Reigns in the grand scheme of things.
NUMBER 2: BRAUN STROWMAN (=)
WWE might have teased who the main focus is on this weekend with Braun and Brock staring each other down and being pulled apart by the rest of the locker room.
NUMBER 1: BROCK LESNAR (=)
Brock is still champ and unlike the period of time after WrestleMania, Brock has been present for most of the time the past few months, which leaves me no chance but to put him where he belongs, number one.
