Five Things to Expect From 4th of July Raw

Before you watch tonight's Independence Day edition of Raw, check out our five things to expect from this 'Murica fueled event!

A special Murica’ themed independence day edition of Raw comes from Columbus, Ohio this week, and here’s what you can expect (Spoiler alert: Freedoms and Barbecues)

1. Champion vs Champion

The Miz returned to WWE television last week and immediately made an impact, hosting another edition of MizTV, with the WWE Champion Dean Ambrose, and added to their long-running disliking of one another. Alter Dean beat him with the Dirty Deeds last week, Miz will definitely be looking for revenge this time around.

2. Lost in the Woods

The more the New Day mock the Wyatt family, the more worried Xavier Woods looks. Ever since they returned, the New day haven’t taken any of the Wyatt’s threats seriously. Come Monday Night, it may finally be time for Xavier to stand up to his teammates and perhaps even see a serious side to the New Day.

3. Team Murica’ vs Team World

With it being July 4th when Raw is on this week, that can only mean one thing. All. Of. The. Freedoms. And WWE have made no secret of their intention to make the show all about the red, white and blue when Team America taken and inevitably beat a team of Foreign jobbers. They’ll probably fly a star-spangled banner with an image of John Cena riding a bald eagle on it as well in the background for good measure.

4. U.S Title Match

Rusev gets yet another match with Titus O Neil this Monday, because apparently no one else is worthy of the Bulgarian Brute’s time. Nonetheless, Titus has technically *earnt* this match, and with it taking place on Independence Day, and with Titus being a shining example of everything the WWE wants its superstars to be, the patriotic, charitable father of the year might just become the United States Champion on Monday.

5. Cena gets clubbed… again.

John Cena just can’t deal with the Club. They’ve bested him at every single turn so far in this series of ‘dream matches’. Even when they insist of not being at ringside, Cena can’t help but look over his shoulder. Even on a show celebrating everything Cena stands for, the Club will still more than likely lay another brutal beat down on Johnny Boy.

So this I what I expect so see unfold tonight! Read my Raw Review on Tuesday morning to see how I got along, as well as a complete run through of the show.
