As we draw closer to WWE’s much anticipated “Cruiserweight Classic” we here at Real Sport are taking a look at some of the competitors that WWE have handpicked from around the world.
Today the man in the spotlight is Da Mack.
Where He Wrestles
Da Mack has spent eight years honing his craft along the independent scene, and has had the lucky fortune to train under the likes of Cesaro and Axel Dieter Sr. He’s held championship gold on several occassions, including in European promotion Westside Xtreme Wrestling and in German Stampede Wrestling.
Da Mack has been described by some as the “Urban German,” due to his hip-hop styling and German homeland. In the ring, he brings some of the hip-hop feel to his charisma, but he’s also got dynamic high-flying skills that work in tandem with his flare and technical prowess. Da Mack is a relative unknown in the states, but he’s no stranger to the ring.
Low. While Da Mack is a big staple of the German scene, he’s a significant underdog in this tournament. Especially with an opening match against TJ Perkins, who is already getting recognition from WWE for his tumultuous journey to the CWC.
