Cruiserweight Classic: Who are The Bollywood Boyz?

With WWE's Cruiserweight Classic coming soon, RealSport takes a look at two of the men involved, The Bollywood Boyz.

As we draw closer to WWE’s much anticipated “Cruiserweight Classic” we here at Real Sport are taking a look at some of the competitors that WWE have handpicked from around the world.

Today the men in the spotlight are Harv & Gurv Sihra, The Bollywood Boyz.

Where They Wrestle

While The Bollywood Boyz are representing their indian heritage, the majority of their experience is from The Great White North. These two brothers have been competing as a team in Canada for a decade, and they’ve made quite a splash in Elite Canadian Championship Wrestling. The promotion may not sound familiar, but it’s been around since 1996 and has seen the likes of Christopher Daniels, Daniel Bryan, Jim Neidhart, Tommy Dreamer, and others come through and compete. Most recently, The Bollywood Boyz won a tournament to become the first Tag Team Champions for Global Force Wrestling, Jeff Jarrett’s new company since his departure from TNA.

Style

It’s hard to know exactly how these two brothers will compete in singles action, as they’ve spent nearly their entire career as a tag team. As a team, they’re extremely reminiscent of The Rockers, were influenced by none other than Eddie Guerrero, and also pull from their experience training in the infamous Hart Family Dungeon. With plenty of tandem maneuvers, high energy moments, and high impact spots, there’s never a dull moment with The Bollywood Boyz. It’ll be interesting to see how each man tries to make a mark on his own in this tournament.

Expectations

It wouldn’t be surprising to see both of these men make it past the first round, but don’t expect either man to go all the way. They’re almost exclusively a tag team. Because of their charisma as a duo, this could also be a way for WWE to decide if they want to sign them as a team.
