5 things to expect from the first Brand Extension Raw (25/07/16)

Following on from a chaotic Battleground, Raw is left in the wilderness with no world title on their show. How will the roster react?

1. Make way for NXT

The NXT universe prepares to take Raw to new heights, as its two newest graduates, Finn Balor and Nia Jax intend on making a huge impact on Monday Night Raw. Finn will more than likely address the club, as he’s been teasing a club reunion for months. Nia, on the other hand, will look right towards Charlotte and the women’s title. It eluded her during her time on NXT, but can she stake a claim for the gold tonight?

2. Rusev wants a new challenger…

After making yet another man tap out to his monstrous accolade, this time being the Long Island Iced Z Zack Ryder, the Bulgarian Brute Rusev dared anyone to step forward and challenge him for his title. He’ll more than likely address this situation again tonight, as we’ll find out who is brave – or stupid – enough to challenge Rusev for his United States Championship.

3. In-Zayn momentum shift

Last night at Battleground, the war between Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens finally came to an end, with Sami Zayn picking up a massive win over his nemesis. Can Sami use this huge momentum boost to push himself into the main event scene? Or perhaps, on a personal level for him, push himself into such a position that could maybe see him move towards picking up his first ever singles title on the main roster?

4. The King of Swing wants the world to know who he is…

After a shoot interview last week after him being drafted to Raw, in which he was very, very angry about being there, Cesaro now needs to stop talking and make a real in-ring impact. And what better way to do so than on the very first Raw of the new era? Expect some big things from the Swiss Superman tonight.

5. And the New…

So, in case you missed it, last night at Battleground Dean Ambrose retained his WWE Championship is taking it to Smackdown with him, leaving Raw with no world championship. That is unless, there’s a huge announcement tonight. Which, with Stephanie being Stephanie, there will more than likely be one. Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins will both be incensed that they are on a show with no leading championship. And they are two huge main eventers that you don’t want to annoy.

So that’s what to expect from tonight’s Raw! Make sure you visit the site tomorrow to find out what went down.
