5 Things to expect from Monday Night Raw (1/08/16)

Raw this week comes in from the Phillips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. With the Beast incarnate returning tonight, what will happen?

1. The club lay down the law
After their attack on a celebrating New Day last week, the club need to lay down the law this week, and certify their places as the number one contenders to the WWE Tag Team Championships. The New Day, in their typical mocking fashion, will probably disregard their challenge. But it’s time to take things seriously again, as the Club will be gunning for their titles.

2. Braun’s Battle
After last week’s decimating display of a power and prowess against the almighty James Ellsworth, Braun will be looking for another target this week. The new beast will be on the hunt for another victim, but will anyone be brave enough to step in the ring with him?

3. Rusev on the hunt
With his former challenger Zack Ryder being drafted onto Smackdown Live, and being pinned by the debuting Finn Balor last week on Raw in the Fatal Four Way, Rusev needs to bounce back, fast. He’ll be on the hunt for a brand new challenger for SummerSlam as the pecking order for Raw starts to take shape.

4. Seth’s Statement
After it was announced last week that Seth Rollins would be guaranteed the chance to become the first ever WWE Universal champion at SummerSlam, he had the night off and sat back whilst his competition tore them self apart until one man, Finn Balor, was left standing tall. But after the biggest week of Finn’s career, Seth needs to make a serious statement to show why he was the number 1 draft pick.

5. The beast is back
So, after yet another hiatus involving UFC, Drug tests and everything in-between, Brock returns ahead of his SummerSlam clash with the Viper, Randy Orton. However, with Orton being on Smackdown, this leaves Brock in an odd position. He doesn’t really have the need to show up, yet he still is. He’ll more than likely have Heyman cut him a promo and bounce around the ring shirtless, but as we all know, we won’t be seeing him compete.

So that’s everything to expect from tonight Raw! Make sure you check back tomorrow for a full raw Recap!
