1. Gallows and Anderson get their match
Gallows and Anderson have been on the hunt for the New Day and their tag team titles and now with SummerSlam less than two weeks away, it looks set to be announced that the two teams will clash as Gallows and Anderson look for their first titles in the WWE. Also, expect an update on Big E’s injury.
2. Rebuilding the Roman Empire
Last week, Roman Reigns staked his claim for a US Title match against Rusev, coming down to the ring and assaulting him after a match against Mark Henry. Having finally found a place within the mid-card and a title to suit, this could finally be the resurgence of the Roman Empire. It’ll be made official tonight, especially after a showdown between the two.
3. Rebuilding bridges
After Lesnar and Orton both snuck into the opposite brand’s arenas to lay their mark on one another, tensions are near boiling point. However, Daniel Bryan has approached Mick Foley to hold peace talks tonight on Raw. Well, this is ending badly, isn’t it? If one of the two don’t appear tonight, I’d be very surprised.
4. Owens becoming a Jericholic?
Owens and Jericho are seemingly becoming best friends all over again, and with Big Cass and Enzo Amore out to get them, forming a team together now could be perfect timing. With Enzo and Big Cass refusing to back down, it could be set for a huge clash tonight.
5. Jobbers anyone?
So, with Nia Jax and Braun Strowman seemingly facing jobbers for the rest of their careers, will tonight be any exception to the rule? They don’t have any rivalries built up and have no real personalities or reasons to be cared about, apart from being big and strong. So, tonight, expect to see another squash match. Or two. So that’s what to expect for tonight’s Raw!
