As things stand there are just 5 matches announced for this Sunday’s Extreme Rules pay-per-view, which means tonight’s go-home episode of RAW will have to bulk out the three hour show a little, so which matches will be added? Baron Corbin vs Dolph Ziggler I expect this will be in the pre-show once again. Ziggler stole the win in their match at Payback with a rollup so it would make sense for them to clash once more and Corbin get his win back. Quite how “extreme” this match could be who knows, maybe it’s made into a No Disqualification match but hopefully it will be the final time these two cross paths and allow Corbin to go and challenge someone else. Chris Jericho vs Dean Ambrose These two put on a great match at Payback and have since continued to get under each other’s skin. First Jericho destroyed Ambrose’s plant (RIP Mitch) and then Ambrose got revenge by trashing Jericho’s light up jacket. These two have great chemistry both on the mic and in the ring, I fully expect them to butt heads again on tonight’s RAW and have a match made for Sunday. Maybe they can revisit one of my favourite Jericho matches from 2000 and have a last man standing match. Gallows & Anderson vs The Usos While Roman Reigns and AJ Styles once again tangle for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship their running-mates need something to do other than mak run-ins, so the natural thing to do is put them in a tag match against each other. We can spice it up in the “extreme rules” manner and add a No DQ or even tornado stipulation, but these four need to be kept away from the main event this time around so having them tangle with one another makes too much sense.
