Moses has flourished since a mid-season move to the Eels from Wests Tigers. He has a strong running game mixed with a great long and short passing game. An instinctual player who can play off the cuff and isn’t afraid to call for the ball, don’t be surprised if we see him run the ball more on Saturday, especially considering the Cowboys’ big boys played into extra time last week.
He was the missing key to the Eels’ halves headache for some years now and will make the number seven jersey his own for years to come.
Has to be his ability to play to the line and his vision. For such a young player his decision making with ball in hand is astonishing.
He has a tendency to attempt flamboyant plays without an awareness of the potential consequences while the difference between his best and worst form is significant.
2017 Rating – 8/10
Michael Morgan (2017)
- Games played: 24

- Try assists: 19
- Line breaks: 10
- Line break assists: 12
- Average kick metres: 230
- 40/20s: 2
Morgan has flourished since a season ending injury to Johnathan Thurston, surprising many who didn't believe that Morgan would develop into the player he is as quickly as he did. He is among the season's most improved players.
A Queensland and Australian representative, he enjoyed his best season with the Maroons this year and is pushing for a regular starting spot. He is turning into the complete package with his running, kicking, passing and controlling of a game alongside his ice cool persona and instinctual play.
Morgan has speed to burn, which he utilises to get on the outside of an opposition defender. He is a lot stronger than he may seem with a deadly fend, also possessing an almighty flick pass.
Has a tendency to overplay his hand and get a little selfish although it is slowly being eradicated from his game. Still lacks a bit of creative polish when the team needs a leader to stand up.
2017 Rating - 9/10
