It’s week 16, and we’re headed to New York State for the battle of nobody cares! In one of the last few games for two teams that are both out of the playoff race, this game will have literally zero impact on the league as a whole. Expect both teams to be playing like they just ate Christmas dinner. At least it will give you a chance to sleep off some of those leftover sandwiches.

Three keys to the game:

1 The Bills running game

The Bills have the stronger running game of both of these teams, but with Lesean McCoy out with an MCL tear, that could be seriously weakened in this game. Can the Bills rely on the rest of their rushers to put up similar numbers? It’s unlikely.

2 The Draft position

With both teams looking at next year’s draft figures it could be beneficial to the Cowboys to take a knee on this one, and let their season burn out to top 5 picks territory. This is setting up to be a snoozefest.

3 No Romo

Romo is the Cowboys star, and they have proven categorically this season that they can’t win without him. With only the surprise win against the Redskins to lift their spirits, this could well be another depressing factor in this matchup.

Match-up to watch: Sammy Watkins vs Brandon Carr

Even in the dullest of games, there can be something exciting to watch. You could try and spot the stereotypical fans in the crowd shots. You could keep a tally of all the awful calls that the refs make, or you could count the amount of RIP Romo signs in the crowd. If you are going to watch the game, you could do worse than watch Sammy Watkins pair off against Brandon Carr. With Watkins carrying most of the Bills yardage for the season, Carr may end up focusing on closing him down for most of the game. Either that, or you could look and see if you can spot any fan on fan violence in the stands between plays.

Prediction: Buffalo Bills

The outcome of this game has no relevance whatsoever on the entire season, other than finding out who gets the earlier pick in next year’s draft. With the Bills record for this season being marginally better than the Cowboys, and them pipping the Cowboys on most stats. It’s most likely going to be a home victory for the Bills.
