New England Patriots
The Patriots continue to increase competition at the wide receiver position as they work out WR Cobi Hamilton, a former sixth round pick of the Bengals who has been bouncing around the NFL but is yet to play in an actual game. Dion Lewis continues to be out of practice, creating speculation that he might start the season on the PUP list. Tom Brady is still showing signs of excellence. He had a perfect practice Friday, completely dominating the defense while going 25 for 25 on passes. He also spoke out to the press for the first time about his suspension.

The Dolphins have a game of musical chairs when it comes to running back injuries. As Jay Ajayi returned yesterday, rookie Kenyan Drake went down with a leg injury. There is no confirmation as to what the injury is but it appears it could be a hamstring injury, which he previously suffered in OTAs. Cornerback Chimdi Chekwa also sustained an injury in Friday’s practice. As injuries continue to be an issue in training camp, many veterans were given a day off on Friday. Defensive tackle Ndamukong SUh, linebacker Kiko Alonso, left tackle Branden Albert, and defensive end Jason Jones all took a rest day.
The Bills are having serious problems at the linebacker position. Second-round rookie LB Reggie Ragland suffered a knee injury, the severity of which is not yet known. Linebacker Kevin Reddick has an MCL sprain and linebacker Jamari Lattimore has missed practice for the last few days with a broken nose through an accident at practice. In contract news, RB Reggie Bush has signed a one-year, one million dollar contract with up to 500k in incentives. Tyrod Taylor and the Bills are in talks on a $30 million dollar ‘Bridge Deal.’
New York Jets
The two stars of the New York Jets, Brandon Marshall and Darrelle Revis, got into a fight at camp with Marshall swinging at Revis after the two exchanged words. The confrontation does not appear to be serious as Marshall and Head Coach Todd Bowles have brushed off the fight as just the result of the players competitive instincts.
