Yesterday was a big day in the NFL, culminating in the Patriots getting their first loss of the season at the hands of Brock Osweiler and the Denver Broncos in overtime. As dramatic as that Sunday Night Football showdown was, it’s the other results on the day that has caused a shakeup of the playoff picture. We have new teams sneaking into postseason slots in both conferences, while the Wild Card chase is starting to narrow down. In our post-MNF playoff picture update tomorrow, we’ll outline the earliest each team can either seal their ticket to January football, and the earliest each team can be mathematically eliminated from the playoff dance.
