The New York Giants are returning to England for the second time. Thanks to their 35-30 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, the Giants will face the St. Louis Rams as part of the 2016 International Series. The game will take place on October 23, at a new venue, Twickenham. It will be the first International Series game to be played outside of Wembley Stadium since its inauguration in 2007. The Giants appeared in the first ever International Series game, beating the Miami Dolphins 13-10. When the fixtures were announced, it was revealed that the team that finished third in the NFC East would end up coming to London. The Eagles and the Giants were the only two candidates left in the final week of the regular season, with the loser of their match ending up with the overseas trip. Philadelphia finish second in the division thanks to their win, behind the Washington Redskins, who face the Cincinnati Bengals in London the following week (October 30) at Wembley. The other International Series game in 2016 sees the Jacksonville Jaguars take on the Indianapolis Colts on October 2.
