Chris Andersen signs with the Cleveland Cavaliers

Birdman rejoins LeBron James in Cleveland.

Chris Andersen has agreed a one-year deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers. He links up with LeBron James once again after they previously played together in Miami.

Andersen will presumably take over back-up center duties from Timofey Mozgov, who recently left for the Los Angeles Lakers.

The veteran has experience in the NBA having played 14-years in the league, also winning a championship in the process in 2013.

Having played for Denver, New Orleans, Miami and Memphis, Birdman has career averages of 5.5 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.4 blocks.
