UFC Fight Night 118: 3 must watch fights

UFC Fight Night 118: Cerrone vs Till is live from Poland this weekend - here are three fights you don't want to miss!

Saturday, October 21 is the date for UFC Fight Night 118: Cerrone vs Till in Gdansk, Poland. The card is packed with home-grown talent and will be a display of the very best in Polish MMA.

A long-awaited card in Poland will showcase such home country talents as Karolina Kowalkiewicz, Jan Blachowicz, and Marcin Held. It is also the first UFC card in the city of Gdansk and is shaping up to be a memorable one. Let’s hope the fights live up to expectations.

  1. 3 Artem Lobov vs Andre Fili

Artem "The Russian Hammer" Lobov will take on Andre "Touchy" Fili in the prelims. Artem Lobov, the hard-hitting SBG fighter will look to get the knockout against the always exciting Team Alpha Male top prospect Andre Fili in what will be a fast-paced action packed fight that might not go the distance. Both men are coming off losses so they are both eager to perform and get back in the win column. This fight could surprise people and steal the show if both men come to fight.

  2. 2 Sam Alvey vs Ramazan Emeev

Another likely barnburner to look out for is the always dangerous and entertaining "Smiling" Sam Alvey as he takes on the UFC newcomer Russian Ramazan Emeev. Emeev makes his UFC debut with a pro record of 15-3. He has finished most of his fights so far and is very dangerous fight on the feet and ground. He should push the gritty veteran Alvey to his limit. A very exciting fight I don't see it going to a decision.

  3. 1 Donald Cerrone vs Darren Till

The main event of the evening is between Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone and Darren Till and for good as reason as both men are two of the most dangerous strikers at 170 pounds. A fight between the old lion and the young lion, it is a very interesting matchup which has the potential to end quickly and spectacularly. The young Englishman Till is one of the welterweight divisions most promising prospects and with a win over a name like Cerrone it would propel him into the title picture. Can the veteran Cerrone get another win on his record or will the young gun Till show the world he is ready to take over the division? Only time will tell but either way it plays out expect an entertaining fight from both men.
