Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks: Lineup advice for September 26, 2017

Another day of crazy action in the baseball world, so who should you pick?

We’re at the point of the fantasy season now where it’s not about having your favorite players on your daily team. It’s about winning the game.

Fortunately, today’s games have a full slate of players who can help you do just that. If you want to pick the winners, look no further than the following.

Best DFS MLB pitchers for September 26, 2017

Everyone from aces to back-end rotation arms is scheduled for today, so playing a little mix and match could be necessary. However, based on the matchups, the following arms will probably yield the best return.

Chris Sale vs Toronto Blue Jays: $13,400 DraftKings, FPPG- 28.7

The Red Sox lost a tough one to Toronto last night and saw their AL East lead over the hated New York Yankees shrink to four games. This means that Sale (17-7, 2.75 ERA) will represent a Boston team that will surely take the field with a chip on its shoulder, and the fact he has gone 2-0 without allowing a run against Toronto in three starts this year further stakes his claim as the best starting pitcher available today.

Dallas Keuchel @ Texas Rangers: $9,400 DraftKings, FPPG- 18.1

The Astros have the AL West clinched but won’t get far in the playoffs with Keuchel as touch-and-go as he has been. He has gone 4-5 with a 4.27 ERA since August and really needs a win and going up against a Texas Rangers squad that is all but eliminated from playoff contention should provide the boost he needs. It’s also worth noting that Keuchel has posted a 2.25 ERA in his last two starts, so perhaps the dominant lefty we all know and love will make his full return tonight.

Zach Davies vs. Cincinnati Reds: $7,400 DraftKings, FPPG- 13.2

The Brewers are still alive in the NL Wild Card race and need to run as hot as they can for the rest of the season, meaning that their series with the Reds this week should give them plenty of momentum. It also helps that Davies takes the mound for the series opener today and he has posted a 2.30 ERA versus the Reds this year. So long as he has the run support, this should be an easy win for both Milwaukee and fantasy owners who pick Davies.

Best DFS MLB Hitters for September 26, 2017

And what’s a day full of great pitching without some great hitting? If you want to win today, look no further than these sluggers.

Aaron Judge vs. Tampa Bay Rays: $5,600 DraftKings, FPPG- 10.7

Whatever was ailing Judge for the first month and change after the All-Star Break has disappeared. The inevitable AL Rookie of the Year and strong MVP candidate tied and then set a rookie record yesterday with his 49th and 50th home runs of the season and is now hitting .307 with 13 home runs this month. He won’t slow down with his New York Yankees still in the division race either, so this is just a case of riding the hot bat while it’s smoking.

Nolan Arenado vs. Miami Marlins: $5,400 DraftKings, FPPG- 9.6

Arenado’s Colorado Rockies lost a tough one to the Marlins last night, meaning that the team will be locked in for a rebound tonight. Arenado has hit just .167 against Miami this year, but a spot in the playoffs is now on the line. Colorado leads Milwaukee by just 1.5 games and needs to win as much as possible this week. Arenado is one of the Rockies’ best power bats, so look for him to turn on the afterburners when it counts tonight.

Kris Bryant @ St. Louis Cardinals: $4,700 DraftKings, FPPG- 9.4

The reigning NL MVP is running hot with a .321 batting average in September and also has a five-game hitting streak going. Bryant needs to be owned across the board not only because of how well he’s swinging the bat but because he is available at what should be considered a discount. The Cubs can clinch the NL Central with a win tonight, so look for Bryant to lead the charge.

Best stack option

As always, there’s always one!

Cleveland Indians vs Bartolo Colon (MIN)

The Minnesota Twins are almost definitely going to be the second AL Wild Card team, but they’ll take a step back tonight with Colon on the mound in Cleveland. He has a 6.63 ERA for a reason so stack your lineup with Francisco Lindor ($5,600), Jose Ramirez ($5,400), and Edwin Encarnacion ($5,000).
