Baltimore Orioles: Let the rebuild begin

2018 will be a rough season for the Baltimore Orioles. The pitching staff is touch and go, veteran talent is supplemented by youth that is waiting for that big step forward as a group, and tar infielder Manny Machado has one year left in the Charm City before leaving for greener pastures in free agency.

Combine that with playing in the hard-hitting AL East with the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox, and reasons for O's fans to go to Camden Yards are scarce.

The good news is that some of Baltimore's young pieces should help the rebuild go more smoothly than others, but one thing is certain. The Orioles, who finished last in the division at 75-87 in 2017, are in for a rough ride the next few years, so the front office had better buckle up.
