Madden 17 Ultimate Team: Redemption Set Guide

Madden 17 Ultimate Team has lots of perks, one being its Sets and their trading card-esque feel. Here is a guide to just one of them: Redemption

Madden 17 is the best Madden game for a while for a number of reasons. They have made the game more balanced between offense and defense and they’ve made it really possible to play to your desired style and identity, along with the usual customization and game modes available.

Part of what makes the game so good is its Ultimate Team mode, a staple of all EA Sports games. Between the trading card nature of the game, the head to head games, the Solo Challenges and one of my favorites, the Sets.

Here is a breakdown of just one of the Sets: Redemption.

This is one of MUT’s exclusive Sets and contains 17 Sub-Sets that require MUT Tips or Loyalty Badges

MUT Tips are Collectibles that you get from a variety of Packs , typically one at a time, and their only use is in these Sets. Loyalty Badges act as rewards for loyal Madden players. I have only gotten one based on my Madden 16 Ultimate Team and Online progress. The more you play Ultimate Team and online, the more Loyalty Rewards you are likely to receive. Again, these Badges’ only use is in these Sets.

So, here are the different Sub-Sets:

  • Silver Most Feared (Expires October 31st)

Add any 3 MUT Tips to earn 1 Silver or better Most Feared Player.

  • Gold Most Feared (Expires October 31st)

Add any 5 MUT Tips to earn 1 Gold or better Most Feared Player.

  • Pro Pack

Add any 25 MUT Tips to earn a Pro Pack.

  • All-Pro Pack

Add any 75 MUT Tips to earn an All-Pro Pack.

  • Award Winners

Add any 250 MUT Tips to earn an Award Winners Pack that gives you 1 Elite Award Winners Player.

  • Sets 101

Add the “Add to Set” MUT Tip Collectible earned from Objectives to receive a Bronze Badge.

  • Loyalty: Contract Pack

Add 2 Loyalty Badges to earn a Contract Pack with a random number of Contracts up to 500.

  • Loyalty: Silver Pack (Offense)

Add 3 Loyalty Badges to earn an Offense Silver Player Upgrade Pack with 5 Silver or better offensive players.

  • Loyalty: Sliver Pack (Defense)

Same as above but for defensive players.

  • Loyalty: Event Tickets

Add 4 Loyalty Badges to earn 6 Event Tickets.

  • Loyalty: Pro Pack

Add 5 Loyalty Badges to earn a Pro Pack.

  • Loyalty: Gold Pack (Offense)

Add 7 Loyalty Badges to earn an Offense Gold Player Upgrade Pack with 3 Gold Offense Players.

  • Loyalty: Gold Pack (Defense)

Same as above but for defensive players.

  • Loyalty: All-Pro Pack

Add 10 Loyalty Badges to earn an All-Pro Pack.

  • Loyalty: Elite Pack (Offense)

Add 15 Loyalty Badges to earn an Offense Elite Player Upgrade Pack with 1 Elite Offensive Player.

  • Loyalty: Elite Pack (Defense)

Same as above but for a defensive player.

  • Loyalty: Legends Pack

Add 20 Loyalty Badges to earn a Legends Pack.

This is not a Set that you should necessarily focus on, more a Set that you slowly complete in the background as you play. Nevertheless these are more than worth it as the rewards are pretty good and they don’t require any real grind, they just kind of fill themselves up.

What do you think of this set? Let us know in the comments!
