Four teams for the ESL AU & NZ Championship finals announced

The finalists for the ESL AU & NZ Championship have been announced.

The online season of the Australia and New Zealand division of the ESL Championship Season 2 is ending soon. As such, the time for the final four teams who will compete at the PAX Arena LAN Finals in Melbourne, Australia is here.

Originally, the semi-finals would be an online deal, in which the top two teams there would go to the LAN Grand Final. Times have changed, however, and ESL announced on their stream yesterday that the playoffs will be at the LAN instead. The four teams that will battle it out for a slice of the $12,280 prize pool are Athletico, Parallax, Chiefs and Immunity. The teams in places 5-8 are as follows: Exile5, onestop, AVANT GARDE and Legacy, respectively.

The matches will be streamed on ESL’s Twitch channel on November 5 and 6.
