FIFA 17: Team of the Week (TOTW) 2nd Nov.

Leonardo Bonucci, Marcelo, Ilkay Gudogan, Arjen Robben, Philippe Coutinho and Alexis Sanchez all star in in FIFA Ultimate Team's Team of the Week. RealSport takes you through the prices for this week's hottest property.


Every week, EA Sports release their Team of the Week on FIFA 17 Ultimate Team. These are the top 23 players from the past week’s action, and their performances have been rewarded with an in form card. Aside from being improved versions of the players, IF cards are incredibly valuable, so if you manage to get your hands on one in a pack, you should strongly consider selling. RealSport takes you through this week’s side.

Starting XI

Stars from the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A and the Bundesliga all start in the 4-4-2 starting line up for the TOTW.

Tom Heaton – OVR 82

The Burnley goalkeeper made an incredible 11 saves against former club Manchester United, as they secured what could be a crucial point at Old Trafford. Considering the Englishman is usually rated 76, this is a massive stats boost, and puts him amongst the best goalkeepers in the Premier League. For an in form player, Heaton is very affordable, costing between 14,000-15,000 coins on both consoles.

Ivan Ramis – OVR 82

Another man usually rated 76, Ivan Ramis’ goal put Levante on their way to handing Villarreal their first league defeat of the season. The Spanish centre back is also affordable, costing around the 11,000 mark on both consoles.

Niklas Sule – OVR 84

Niklas Sule’s header gave Hoffenheim yet another win in the Bundesliga, sending them third in the league, as they defeated Hertha Berlin 1-0 at home. Sule has been rewarded for his strong performances so far this season, improving his 81 rating this week. The German centre back will cost 13,500 coins on both consoles.

Leonardo Bonucci – OVR 88

Is there a better centre-back in the world at the minute? Leonardo Bonucci has built on his strong Euro 2016 performance with Italy, this time finding himself on the scoresheet as Juventus beat Napoli in Turin. He has been increased by one level from 87, but as you would expect he will set you back close to 130,000 coins on either console.

Marcelo – OVR 87

The Real Madrid left back just keeps going, claiming two assists as Real Madrid defeated Alaves 4-1, one of which a 60 yard long ball for Alvaro Morata to stick away. The Brazilian also improves by one level from 86, but he will cost 158,000 coins on Xbox One and 178,000 on PlayStation 4.

Arjen Robben – OVR 88

Speaking of players who keep going, Arjen Robben is still giving defenders nightmares. The Dutchman was involved in all three Bayern Munich’s goals in 3-1 win over Augsburg, with two assists and a goal of his own.  He goes up one level from his usual 87, but the right winger will cost you around a whopping 380,000 coins on XB1 and 400,000 on PS4.

Ilkay Gundogan – OVR 86

New Manchester City man Ilkay Gundogan bagged two goals as they defeated West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns, keeping them at the top of the English Premier League. The German has found his feet at The Etihad after returning from injury. The central midfielder sees an improvement of one level from 85, costing around 200,000 coins on both consoles.

Giacomo Bonaventura – OVR 84

AC Milan fans have been waiting for Giacomo Bonaventura to come out of his shell, and this season might just be the one for the central midfielder. The Italian got the crucial goal in the win over Pescara, seeing his normal 82 overall rating increase. He will set you back just short of 70,000 coins on either console.

Philippe Coutinho – OVR 86

The Brazilian has been in scary form this season for Liverpool, as they look to claim a first Premier League title. Playing as a left winger, Coutinho provided two assists from corners and played a part in Emre Can’s opener as The Reds beat Crystal Palace 4-2. Coutinho changes from an 85-rated attacking midfielder this week, but this improved card will set you back 140,00 coins on PS4 and 180,000 on XB1.

Robin van Persie – OVR 84

Former Arsenal and Manchester United front man Robin van Persie netted twice as Fenerbahce defeated Karabukspur 5-0. The Dutch striker also grabbed an assist in the win, seeing his normal FIFA rating of 81 increase. For an 84 rated in form forward he is an absolute bargain, costing just under 14,000 coins on both consoles.

Alexis Sanchez – OVR 89

Not by any means an out-and-out number nine, but Alexis Sanchez is beginning to make the striker position his own at Arsenal. The Chilean grabbed two goals as his side beat Sunderland 4-1, and maintain their title ambitions. This is Sanchez’s second TOTW appearance of the season, both as a striker, seeing his normal left wing 87 rating improve by two levels this time.

Substitutes

A bit more abstract on the bench with Ligue 1, Championship and K League players wait for their opportunity.

Baptiste Reynet – OVR 74

Dijon goalkeeper Baptiste Reynet makes the TOTW after securing a clean sheet against Bastia in the French Ligue 1. He improves from 73, and will cost around 6,500 coins on either console.

Enrique Perez – OVR 74

Mexican Enrique Perez has a case for making the TOTW starting elven due to the lack of right backs. The Morelia man socred the winner as they defeated Necaxa 2-1 in Liga MX. He increases by two levels from 72, costing 8,000 coins on PS4 and 12,000 on XB1.

Ricardo Lopes – OVR 74

Brazilian left midfielder Ricardo Lopes increases by two levels ager his hat-trick for Jeonbuk Motors against Jeonham Dragons in the 5-0 K League win. Lopes will cost you just over 40,00 coins on PS4 and 48,000 on XB1.

Wylan Cyprien – OVR 74

Central midfielder Wylan Cyprien scored twice as Nice defeated Nates 4-1 as they went six points clear at the top of Ligue 1. Cyprien improves by two levels, but his high silver rating means the Frenchman will cost 43,000 coins on PS4 and 39,000 on XB1.

Glenn Murray – OVR 74

Brighton & Hove Albion striker Glenn Murray netted a hat-trick as his side beat Norwich 5-0 in the EFL Championship. The Englishman increases be one level, and will cost 7,500 coins on PS4 but over 14,000 on XB1.

Ande Dona Ndoh – OVR 71

Cameroonian striker Ande Dona Ndoh bagged a hat-trick of his own as Chamois Niortais comfortably defeated Auxerre 4-0 in Ligue 2. His five level improvement will set you back 6,000 coins on PS4 and 7,100 coins on XB1.

Stefan Kutschke – OVR 71

Dresden striker Stefan Kutschke also improves by five, after he scored all three in their 3-2 comeback victory over Eintracht Braunschweig in Bundesliga 2. The German will cost 7,000 coins on PS4 and 8,800 on XB1.

Reserves

Outside of the matchday squad there is still some top talent, with Ciro Immobile featuring for the second time amongst some top fire-power.

Rui Silva – OVR 73

Nacional’s clean sheet in the 0-0 draw against Sporting Lisbon sees goalkeeper Rui Silva improve by five and cost 8,200 and 11,250 coins on PS4 and XB1 respectively.  

Ciro Immobile – OVR 85

Ciro Immobile earns his second in form card of the season, netting scoring three times over two games for Lazio against Cagliari and Sassuolo. The Italian striker will set you back around 50,000 coins on either console.

Omar Al Soma – OVR 82

Omar Al Soma scored all four goals as Al Ahli defeated Al Wehda 4-0 in the Saudia Professional League. The Syrian striker will cost around 11,000 coins on both consoles.

Ze Luis – OVR 82

Cape Verde striker Ze Luis bagged two for Spartak Moscow in the derby against CSKA. The striker will cost 10,250 on Ultimate Team regardless of console.  

Jaime Ayovi – OVR 74

Ecuadorian forward Jaime Ayovi scored a hat trick as Godoy Cruz handed Aldosivi a 3-1 defeat. The striker’s performance means his in form card will cost you 6,600 coins o PS4 and 7,200 on XB1.
