Despite their domestic league not being as strong as many other South American leagues, the Chilean national team have performed excellently in the continental competition. Chile have showed inconsistency though and the reigning South American champions did not qualify for the World Cup in 2018. To select the best Chilean wonderkids on FIFA 19 Career Mode they must start with an overall of 65 or higher with the potential to reach 75 overall. These players must also begin Career Mode either 23 years old or younger giving them plenty of time to grow into top performers.

Rapid young winger Arancibia is a cheap option for clubs on a budget and can be an effective squad player with his pace and dribbling. The 21-year-old Chilean can reach 80 overall making his £2.3m release clause easily profitable.

His high work rates and 87 stamina make him an excellent box to box midfielder and allow him to cover the whole pitch for 90 minutes. Echeverria possesses the qualities to excel in both defence and midfield with 71 short passing and 70 marking. Despite his height, the promising Chilean has the pace to make up for any aerial weaknesses with just 60 jumping. 

Yerko Leiva (OVR 68 - POT 78)

A tricky attacker who can play anywhere across the midfield, Leiva is an excellent dribbler and a nightmare for opposition defenders. With 78 potential, his £2 million release clause can be turned into a big profit if managers choose to sell him later on in Career Mode.
