FIFA 17: Ultimate Team of the Week 27 (TOTW) Predictions- Legendary Lukaku

Check out our predictions for the FIFA Ultimate Team TOTW 27!

In the biggest game in La Liga, Atletico Madrid beat Sevilla 3-1, whilst Jorge Sampaoli’s men haven’t won in three league games now, allowing Atletico to catch up with them in third spot. Tottenham won again in the Premier League, as did Manchester United, who finally moved out of fifth following Arsenal’s 3-1 loss at West Brom. The race for the Bundesliga Golden Boot is heating up with three players now scoring over 20 goals after Anthony Modeste’s hat-trick, whilst Napoli moved to within three points of second-placed Roma in Serie A. Here are our predictions for the FIFA Ultimate Team of the Week 27.

Oliver Baumann (OVR 80 > 83)

Hoffenheim secured a huge three points in the race for a Champions League spot after a hard-fought 1-0 win over recent Champions League departures Bayer Leverkusen. Sandro Wagner scored the goal’s only game, but the focus was on defending as Bayer struggled to break down Hoffenheim’s resolute defence, spearheaded by impressive ‘keeper Oliver Baumann. Baumann’s rating will rise as high as 83, and he’ll cost 800 coins on both Xbox One and PS4.

Craig Dawson (OVR 67 > 74)

With the pressure mounting on Arsene Wenger, there was no respite this weekend as his Arsenal side fell to a 3-1 loss to West Brom at the Hawthorns, but right back Craig Dawson was the star of the show with a brace of headers. The set-piece specialists, renowned for their aerial dominance, reaffirmed this strength with Dawson’s two headed goals to sink the Gunners. Despite Arsenal’s poor defending and failure to track Dawson’s runs, the defender deserves the plaudits for a game-winning brace. Dawson’s rating will rise to 74, and he’ll cost 1,000 coins on Xbox One and 400 coins on PS4.

Gary Cahill (OVR 83 > 85)

The Chelsea steam-roller keeps on rolling as the Blues retained their ten-point lead at the top of the Premier League after a 2-1 victory over Stoke City. Willian opened the scoring with a free-kick to catch Stoke ‘keeper Lee Grant off-guard, but Chelsea’s captain redeemed himself for conceding a penalty by scoring what proved to be the winner. After Stoke failed to clear a Cesc Fabregas corner, Cahill swept home late on to seal an important win. Cahill’s rating could rise to 85, and he’ll cost 1,400 coins on Xbox One and 1,600 coins on PS4.

James Chester (OVR 75 > 84)

Aston Villa are slowly climbing the Championship table, and their latest 2-0 win over managerless Wigan was their fifth in six games to take them into 12th. With the game poised at 0-0, it was centre-back James Chester that emerged to score the opener, heading Villa into the lead. Scott Hogan also scored his first goal since his January move from Brentford to double the lead late on and secure the points. Chester was also impressive at the back as Villa kept a clean sheet. Chester’s rating could rise as high as 84, and he’ll only cost 700 coins on both Xbox One and PS4.

Mohamed Salah (OVR 82 > 85)

Roma returned to winning ways over the weekend as they beat Sassuolo 3-1 at the Stadio Olimpico and reduced Juventus’ lead at the top of Serie A. Despite losing a 15-game home winning streak to Napoli on March 4th, Roma began brightly, and Mohamed Salah nearly opened the scoring after two minutes. The Egyptian did eventually get on the scoresheet, though, scoring his tenth league goal of the season on the rebound to give Roma the lead after Sassulolo opened the scoring. Salah also teed up the first goal. Salah’s rating could rise as high as 87, and he’ll cost 1,200 coins on PS4 and 950 coins on Xbox One.

Javier Pastore (OVR 85 > 86)

It’s not easy coming back from the disaster that was their second leg performance at the Camp Nou, but Paris Saint-Germain have responded well, beating Lyon 2-1 over the weekend. It wasn’t easy for the French champions as the fell behind to an Alexandre Lacazette goal, but an inspired performance from Javier Pastore turned the game on its head. Pastore created an equaliser for Adrien Rabiot through good work on the right flank and a one-two with Angel di Maria. His pass was then met by Julian Draxler for the winner. Pastore was the orchestrator and easily could have had more than two assists. His rating will rise to 86, and he’ll cost 4,800 coins on PS4 and 3,900 coins on Xbox One.

Casemiro (OVR 83 > 87)

Real Madrid overcame what could prove one of their hardest tests of the season as they beat Athletic Bilbao 2-1 at the San Mames Stadium to retain top spot in La Liga with a five point gap over rivals Barcelona. Real went ahead through Karim Benzema, but Aritz Aduriz equalised for the hosts on 65 minutes. It was defensive midfielder Casemiro who stepped up and scored the all-important winner three minutes later. Toni Kroos’ corner was flicked on by Cristiano Ronaldo to Casemiro, who controlled the ball with his chest and fired home from close range. Casemiro’s rating could rise as high as 87, and he’ll cost 1,700 coins on Xbox One and 1,900 coins on PS4.

Lorenzo Insigne (OVR 84 > 87)

Napoli continued their strong season in Serie A and remain two points behind second-placed Roma after a 3-2 victory over Empoli. A superb first half display, particularly from left winger Lorenzo Insigne, helped Napoli on their way to victory, despite conceding two second half goals to put their lead under threat. Insigne opened the scoring by pouncing on a failed effort to deal with a cross and then doubled his tally from the spot seven minutes before the break. Insigne’s rating could rise as high as 87, and he’ll cost 3,000 coins on Xbox One and 6,500 coins on PS4.

Alejandro Gomez (OVR 81 > 86)

Alejandro Gomez starred as Atalanta beat Serie A strugglers Pescara on the weekend, moving them into sixth and only two points behind fourth-placed Lazio. The Argentine forward stole the headlines with a superb performance in which he scored twice and assisted one goal. Gomez opened the scoring inside of 20 minutes before assisting the second and doubling his tally with a stoppage time goal. Gomez’s rating could rise to 86, and he’ll cost 850 coins on Xbox One and 1,100 coins on PS4.

Romelu Lukaku (OVR 84 > 89)

The Belgian forward has been the subject of increased speculation over his Everton future, apparently rejecting the Toffees’ offer of a new contract, but the mounting interest in him clearly hasn’t affected his game. He was the star of the show as Everton beat Hull 4-0, with Lukaku scoring twice in stoppage time and assisting one. It took his tally of Premier League goals to 21 and became the first Everton player to score over 20 league goals since Gary Lineker hit 30 in 1985-86. Lukaku’s rating will rise as high as 89, and he’ll cost you 8,000 coins on Xbox One and 11,500 coins on PS4.

Anthony Modeste (OVR 80 > 84)

Koln’s striker Anthony Modeste scored a hat-trick for Koln this weekend as they beat fellow Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin 4-2, to move into sixth, three points behind their opponents. Modeste has been silently stirring opinion in the Bundesliga this season and has now taken his league tally to over 20 goals. The Frenchman has now scored 22 goals after his treble, one behind Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and one ahead of Bayern’s Robert Lewandowski. This is also the first time in Bundesliga history that three players have scored over 20 goals after 25 games. The 28-year-old’s rating will rise to 84, and he’ll cost 1,000 coins on Xbox One and 1,200 coins on PS4.
