The 2016/2017 Premier League season is underway and other leagues will be following suit very soon. That means it is almost time for the latest instalment of FIFA to be released. Inevitably, as it is just over a month until it is released, fans worldwide are calling for the ratings of their favourite players and teams to be revealed.
Yesterday, a select group of fans will have rejoiced as the ratings for 15 Manchester United players were revealed.
That is a very good line up and it is more than likely that United become the team to use in FIFA 17 if this is accurate.
Compared to FIFA 16, this starting line-up is a total of 38 points better. That’s insane. The most notable players are David De Gea who has gone from 86 to 91, Chris Smalling who has gone from 79 to 85, Eric Bailly has jumped a staggering 11 overall from 71 to 82. Henrik Mkhitaryan has jumped from 81 to 86 and Anthony Martial has gone from 77 to 82.
Meanwhile, their bench got a big boost from two of their young stars from last season. Marcus Rashford is now 76 overall, instead of 69, and Jesse Lingard is now 79 rather than 69. The rest of their squad is probably similar, with players like Juan Mata, Daley Blind, Marouane Fellaini and Memphis Depay.
Now, this is not official and it may change before the release of the ratings. That release typically comes in early September.
What do you think of United’s squad? Have EA been too generous or are they spot on?
