The 2016/2017 Premier League season is underway and other leagues will be following suit very soon. That means it is almost time for the latest instalment of FIFA to be released. Inevitably, as it is just over a month until it is released, fans worldwide are calling for the ratings of their favourite players and teams to be revealed.
Yesterday, a select group of fans will have rejoiced as the ratings for 15 Liverpool FC players were revealed.
For the most part, this team leaves a little to be desired, all over the line up. What’s more, no one has really improved from FIFA 16.
Coutinho is their best player at 84 overall, Sturridge is close behind on 83 and his strike partner Roberto Firmino is still rated 82.
As far as players improving, Joël Matip has gone up one overall, Emre Can has gone up four overall – he is Liverpool’s biggest riser – Divok Origi has gone up one overall, as has Danny Ings and Adam Lallana.
The biggest news to report on the Liverpool team is players’ declines. Alberto Moreno has gone down two overall, Nathaniel Clyne has gone down one and Christian Benteke has gone down two. Though none of these are catastrophic, I can’t imagine it is very welcome for Liverpool fans.
Luckily, a lot of this squad is still relatively young and have some potential, so they’ll be a good pick in career mode if you’re looking to build a team up without starting too low.
What do you think of Liverpool’s squad? Have EA nailed it or are they way off? Let us know in the comments!
