FIFA 17: Chelsea FC ratings leaked?

Chelsea FC had their starting lineup's ratings leaked yesterday. Take a look.

The 2016/2017 Premier League season is underway and other leagues will be following suit very soon. That means it is almost time for the latest instalment of FIFA to be released. Inevitably, as it is just over a month until it is released, fans worldwide are calling for the ratings of their favourite players and teams to be revealed.

Yesterday, a select group of fans will have rejoiced as the ratings for 15 Chelsea FC players were revealed.

Chelsea are coming off a very poor season that saw them finish 10th thanks to massively underwhelming performances from almost all of their players. As a result, you would expect their players to have a dropped a little in the rating department. Well, not so much.

6 of the 15 players shown in the leak have gone up in their overall rating, most notably Kanté, who has risen from 76 to 81. Goalkeeper Courtois has also jumped from 86 to 89, making him one of the best players in the entire game.

Aside from those two players, there is very little change. Most of the team are still among the best in the game. It is a little disappointing that we don’t know if any of Chelsea’s youngsters got any sort of boost – Ruben Loftus-Cheek or Bertrand Traoré for example.

Either way, Chelsea will remain among FIFA’s elite and likely remain as a fan favourite thanks to their attacking prowess.

As with Manchester United, this is not official. These ratings could be changed again or could be edited, but I can’t imagine they are far off if that is the case. The game comes out in late September so we still have a while before these are confirmed.

What do you think of Chelsea’s squad? Have EA nailed it or are they way off? Let us know in the comments!
