The groups for the EPICENTER: Moscow tournament, scheduled to take place from October 17-23, have been announced. The eight teams (G2, NiP, Na’Vi, Dignitas, Virtus.pro, SK, fnatic, HellRaisers) will be split into two four-team groups in which will the teams will play against each other in a BO2 round-robin match system. These top European teams will be competing for a $500,000 prize pool, so the tournament promises some big money and big names.
The best team of each group will go straight to the semi-finals while the second and third best will start at the quarter-finals. The group stage will take place from Monday to Wednesday, with each team playing one match each day. After the group stage, there will be a two day break.
After the break, the playoffs will begin on Saturday with the quarter-finals, then the semi-finals and grand final will take place on Sunday.
