PES 2020: Gibraltar to appear in a football game for the FIRST TIME EVER

The territory's involvement in the Konami title follows the official EURO 2020 licensing.

PES 2020 make yet another announcement with the British Overseas Territory of Gibraltar set to appear in a football game for the first time.

The national team are currently qualifying for Euro 2020 – another license that has been acquired by Konami for the upcoming season.

Gibraltar’s kit, crest and players will all appear in PES 2020 exclusively this year, with the territory yet to be recognised by football’s governing body FIFA – and therefore not in FIFA 20.

UEFA recognition was attained in 2013, with the qualifiers for EURO 2016 marking Gibraltar’s first ever competitive fixtures.
