Football Manager 2020 Announced – new game coming this November

The Sports Interactive classic also comes to Google Stadia alongside Mobile & Touch versions.

The new football season is underway, and we hope that you armchair managers have had a nice summer off.

Yes, football is back in action, but where is the Football Manager game you need to prove you can cut it at the highest level?

Well, you only have to wait a little longer… with Sports Interactive announcing Football Manager 2020 is coming this November.

As well as coming to PC via Steam, Football Manager 2020 will be available on Google Stadia when the cloud gaming platform also comes out in November.

FM 20 will also likely to be downloadable via Xbox Game Pass, with FM 19 being added to the Microsoft feature this summer.

The Sports Interactive / SEGA announcement said: "Put your opinions to good use and do things your way at your club this season, which kicks off in early November.

"Every decision counts in Football Manager 2020 with new features and polished game mechanics adding fresh and authentic dimensions, empowering managers to take greater accountability for both their own and their team’s destiny.

How you get to the top is up to you… you’ll own your decisions, and the consequences they bring."

Last year, Football Manager 2019 arrived on the Nintendo Switch for the first time, so expect it to return this year, too.

FM Mobile & Touch

As ever, Football Manager 2020 Mobile and Touch will also be stripped and ready for action in November with all games released at the same time.

Features and game upgrades will debut towards the end of October.

Pre-order

You can pre-order Football Manager 2020 now, and up until launch there is a 10% discount on the Steam store. This means you can pick the new game up for £35.99.

By pre-purchasing FM 20 from a SEGA approved digital retailer, you will receive a fully-playable Beta version available roughly two weeks before launch.
