All of these players are aged 19 and under on FM19. Not only do they have a Potential Ability (PA) rating of at least 140, but they can all be purchased for a fee of £5 million or less. Be warned though as bonuses may be required to get that initial to £5 million.

For a full list of ALL the best cheap wonderkids in Football Manager 2019, look at the table near the end of this page.

Antonio Marin (CA 109 – PA 150-180)

Age: 17

Positions: AM (L)

Club: Dinamo Zagreb

Country: Croatia

Best stats: 18 flair, 17 dribbling, 14 acceleration

Value: £195,000

Wage: £1,100 a week

Antonio Marin looks to be the next star of Croatian football, with the 17-year-old breaking into the Dinamo Zagreb first team last season. His has only added three appearance for the senior since making his debut, but four goals in five games for their second team shows he has quality.

Croatian U19 international Marin is valued at £195,000 on FM, with a wage of £1,100 a week. His current ability (CA) rating of 109 can improve to a PA between 150 and 180, so his stats of 18 flair, 17 dribbling and 14 acceleration should receive greater support. A fee of around £4 million should get you the left winger.

Ryan Gravenberch (CA 103 – PA 150-180)

Age: 16

Positions: M (C), AM (C)

Club: Ajax

Country: Holland

Best stats: 15 flair, 13 agility, 13 decisions

Value: £250,000

Wage: £90 a week

Ajax have produced heaps of young talent including Johan Cruyff, Marco van Basten, Clarence Seedorf, Wesley Sneijder and Christian Eriksen, with Ryan Gravenberch perhaps the next great to emerge from the academy. The Dutch U19 international has already made two appearances for the Ajax first team this season, scoring on his full debut in the Dutch Cup.

Gravenberch, a central or attacking midfielder, has stats of 15 flair, 13 agility and 13 decisions on FM 19. Those give him a CA of 103 which can improve to a potential between 150 and 180, which values him at just £250,000 and a wage of £90 a week. You will only need £1.5 million to pick up the Dutchman.

Pelayo Morilla (CA 100 – PA 150-180)

Age: 16

Positions: AM (C)

Club: Sporting Gijon

Country: Spain

Best stats: 15 dribbling, 15 first touch, 15 acceleration

Value: £225,000

Another 16-year-old, Pelayo Morilla too has first team football under his belt. The attacking midfielder made his debut for Sporting Gijon during the second division playoffs last season, and has built on that with two Copa del Rye appearances this term, including a goal on debut.

Morilla’s 15 dribbling, 15 first touch and 15 acceleration take his CA to 100, which can rise to a potential between 150 and 180. The Spanish U19 international is valued at £225,000 with a £1,700 a week wage, and you can sign him for just £1 million.

Lee Kangin (CA 90 – PA 150-180)

Age: 17

Positions: M (C), AM (C)

Club: Valencia

Country: South Korea

Best stats: 17 flair, 16 natural fitness, 13 pace

Value: £145,000

Wage: £750 a week

Lee Kangin is also experiencing first team football for the first time, with the Valencia youngster making two appearances in the Copa del Rey this term. The 17-year-old has already made the South Korea U20 squad and scored four times in seven games.

Central or attacking midfielder Lee has a value of £145,000 with a £750 a wage. His 90 CA can improve to a potential between 150 and 180, so his 17 flair, 16 natural fitness and 13 pace should be better supported in the years ahead. £5 million plus bonuses will get you the South Korean.

Fabio Silva (CA 80 – PA 150-180)

Age: 15

Positions: ST

Club: Porto (FCP)

Country: Portugal

Best stats: 14 determination, 13 composure, 13 technique

Value: £9,000

Wage: £55 a week

Aged just 15, Fabio Silva may just be the youngster wonderkid on FM 19. The striker has a fantastic youth record, with three goals in five games for Portugal U15s, and five in seven for the U16s, with him now with the U17s.

Porto youngster Silva can grow from an 80 CA to a potential between 150 and 180 on the game. His stats of 14 determination, 13 composure and 13 technique are exception for a player of his age, and value him at only £9,000. His wages of £55 a week are appetising, as well as his £5 million plus add-ons fee.

Gonzalo Maroni (CA 119 – PA 140-170)

Age: 19

Positions: AM (C)

Club: Talleres Cordoba (on loan from Boca Juniors)

Country: Argentina

Best stats: 15 dribbling, 14 off the ball, 14 vision

Value: £500,000

Wage: £2,200 a week

The 19-year-old Gonzalo Maroni has a little more experience behind him, with the attacking midfielder making 22 appearances in the Argentine top-flight. After nine appearances over two seasons with Boca Juniors, he has been loaned out to Talleres Cordoba and made 13 appearances.

Maroni, who is in the Argentine U20 squad, has a 119 CA on the game, which can improve to a potential between 140 and 170. 15 dribbling, 14 off the ball and 14 vision see him valued at £500,000 with a wage of £2,200. He will cost £5 million plus bonuses to sign.

Svetozar Markovic (CA 113 – PA 140-170)

Age: 18

Positions: D (C)

Club: Partizan Belgrade

Country: Serbia

Best stats: 14 determination, 13 heading, 13 tackling

Value: £325,000

Wage: £850 a week

Svetozar Markovic has plenty of experience in senior football, with the 18-year-old having represented Partizan Belgrade 44 times. He only broke into the side last season, but his performances have seen him progress through the Serbian youth ranks from U16 to U21 level.

Centre back Markovic has stats of 14 determination, 13 heading and 13 tackling to take his CA to 113. His PA between 140 and 170 values him at £325,000 with a £850 a week wage. You are looking at a price of only £1 million to sign him, however.

Brenner (CA 112 – PA 140-170)

Age: 18

Positions: ST

Club: Sao Paulo (SPO)

Country: Brazil

Best stats: 15 natural fitness, 14 dribbling, 14 first touch

Value: £200,000

Wage: £2,700 a week

Sao Paulo striker Brenner has two goals in his first ten games for the club, and considering he has only started three games, that isn’t a bad start to your career. The 18-year-old is also in the Brazil U20 squad, but is yet to earn a youth cap for his country.

A 112 CA for Brenner can improve to a potential between 140 and 170, so expect his 15 natural fitness, 14 dribbling and 14 first touch to improve. The youngster is valued at £200,000 with a wage of £2,700 a week, and can be signed for a fee of £5 million plus bonuses.

Elias Abouchabaka (CA 110 – PA 140-170)

Age: 18

Positions: M (L), AM (LC)

Club: Greuther Furth (on loan from RB Leipzig)

Country: Germany

Best stats: 16 flair, 15 off the ball, 15 first touch

Value: £45,000

Wage: £7,000 a week

After failing to make a senior appearance in a competitive RB Leipzig squad, Elias Abouchabaka has been loaned out to German second division club Greuther Furth. The 18-year-old would have liked more than just the three appearances so far this season, for this is a man who scored seven goals and picked up 16 assists at U19 level last season.

The German U19 international Abouchabaka has stats of 16 flair, 15 off the ball and 15 first touch to make up his 110 CA. That can improve to a PA between 140 and 170, taking his value to £45,000 and wages to £7,000 a week. The left winger or attacking midfielder will set you back £5 million plus bonuses, although he will not join until the end of his loan spell.

Dominik Szoboszlai (CA 110 – PA 140-170)

Age: 17

Positions: AM (C)

Club: RB Salzburg

Country: Hungary

Best stats: 15 pace, 15 determination, 14 passing

Value: £900,000

Wage: £4,000 a week

Dominik Szoboszlai is currently splitting his time between RB Salzburg and their second team, FC Liefering. His 33 appearances for Liefering last season have pushed him towards the first team, with three substitute cameos in the Austrian Bundesliga so far this term.

Attacking midfielder Szoboszlai has a CA of 110 on the game, which can rise to a potential between 140 and 170. 15 pace, 15 determination and 14 passing take his value to £900,000 with a £4,000 a week wage. You should be able to squeeze in a £5 million bid for him, alongside some bonuses.
